Overview

Everyone loves a holiday, but for many young people, especially those in care and others who suffer abuse, school holidays can feel unsettling. Without routine, structure, friends and staff or familiar support systems, anxiety can build quietly and quickly.

That is why we are running a student-friendly webinar designed to help students understand and manage anxious feelings over the holiday. This session will give students practical, age-appropriate tools to help them feel calmer, be in control, and be better prepared for time away from school. Whether they are living in care, with family, or navigating life between settings, this is a gentle, useful presentation designed with their wellbeing in mind.

Presentation will cover:

  • What anxiety is, and how to spot it early
  • Simple, everyday strategies to feel more settled
  • Tips for creating a supportive space at home or in care
  • Reassurance that they are not alone in what they are feeling

Thank you for helping us support young people, especially those who need it most, through their times of transition.
